As of March, one lawn in our neighborhood was entirely covered with leaves, a reality hidden by the snow, but thanks to the warmth of the sun, resurfaced fully into consciousness. That family sure needed to get their act together - beleaf me!

Turbulence. I find it tricky to manage both on the ground and in the air. On a recent flight with my 3 and 4 year olds, I braced myself. The next winter storm was blowing in about the same time we were scheduled to land and there was ever so slight turbulence as we flew. Only to me, any turbulence is A LOT of turbulence. I suddenly started to feel very warm. I closed my eyes and tried to breathe deeply.

Joseph. He's almost two. When he scribbles, he holds one marker in each hand. And he's been spotted holding one sippy cup in each hand while he drinks both at once. One of his first words was "coffee". Go figure. Perhaps if we had a graph, we'd see that our marital coffee consumption increases as our family grows.

One afternoon a few weeks ago, I noticed that my neighbor's van door was left open. Usually, it is my van door that is left open. It started to rain, and I decided to make a run for her driveway. I was relieved to see that the interior didn't look wet. I closed the door and then ran back home.
