I love being at home. There isn't any place I'd rather be - except some days, I'd rather be almost anywhere else. One morning recently my upwardly mobile children were unattended and roaming the house. I could hear the blaring TV, one child dragging toys down the steps to comfort her as she vegged on "wholesome" programming, and another rummaging through the pantry looking for low laying snacks. The baby, tucked away in his crib, was babbling. Postponing the inevitable, I was still in bed. Hiding.
