Therese Martin was born in Alencon, France at the end of the nineteenth century. She is one of the most beloved saints of our time. Now known as St.Therese of Lisieux, the Little Flower, or St.Therese of the Child of Jesus and the Holy Face, she is the patroness of: illness-sufferers, specifically those with AIDS and tuberculosis; florists; France; missionaries; and those who have lost parents.
